How to Achieve Your Goals & Punch 2013 in the Throat!

Punch 2013 in the Throat!  I just love that slogan from NeuYear!  2013 is just around the corner!  Every year I make plans (goals?) to better myself and my marriage - to get more organized, accomplish more, and make the most of the 24 hours in each day.  In the past, I've often felt ruled by my time constraints, but this year I vow to take charge of the time I have.

There are really only 3 steps to accomplishing any goal:
  1. Make a goal.
  2. WRITE IT DOWN!
  3. Do it!
Granted step 3 may take some hard work and breaking your goal into smaller steps, but you'll never accomplish anything until you write it down and decide to do it!

NeuYear is making goal setting easier and more visual than ever with their new stylish calendars.  These large, innovative calendars show your entire year at once, with no breaks between months.  This makes it easier to plan the activities and events of each family member, as well as track your own goals.   This also makes it the perfect calendar for your home office - No more flipping pages to make doctor appointments or plan for holidays and birthday parties!  No more forgetting those sports practices (that you were supposed to bring snacks for) or PTA events- or having events sneak up on you because they're at the beginning of the month!
I personally love seeing the whole year at once.  It helps me to plan ahead for those weekends when my husband will be out of town, to track school holidays, and to plan for the many, MANY doctor, dentist, optometrist, etc. appointments that we have throughout the year.

We've already put ours to use getting ready for the boys' birthday parties at the beginning of the year.  These always sneak up on me, but this year I already feel like I'm on top of things (or at least I've already reserved the venue!).

What other yearly goals have I got on the calendar?
  1. Date Night - My husband and I have let our own relationship take a back seat to his new job and our expanding family.  2013 is the year that we're going to make it a point to get out of the house ALONE together once a month.  It's already on the calendar!
  2. Weight Loss - I know this is one that a lot of people have.  How great to track your weight loss by week and schedule in exercise time for each week.  If you don't write it down, it isn't a priority!
  3. Declutter - Every year I have a goal to declutter 365 things.  I keep a running tally in the back of my planner.  If this is something you struggle with, why not include it on a calendar that you will see all year?
NeuYear is offering a discount for all Mamas Like Me readers.  You can get 30% off on your purchase using the code:  MamasLikeMe from now until December 31st.  These would make perfect gifts for the entrepreneur in your life!  In addition, we're giving away two calendars to get you started on your goal to get more organized in 2013!
