Local Easter Attractions

Easter is fast approaching and it's time for all the fun kid-friendly activities.  Below are some of the ones that I've been emailed about, but it's certainly not an exhaustive list.  Please feel free to leave a comment with a link or information about any local events that you are away of.  Happy Easter everyone!!
 
Breakfast with Peter Cottontail:
March 31st from 10am-1pm! (Rain Date: April 7th) Join us this year as we celebrate Easter and have breakfast with the Peter Cottontail himself! In addition to breakfast, children will have the opportunity to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt, make an Easter Craft, and get their picture with the Easter Bunny! All children must be accompanied by an adult. $7 per child/$2 per adult. ALL AGES WELCOME! Location: Sam Michael's Park.

Charles Town Baptist Church - FREE Easter Egg Hunt Sat., April 7th from 10am to 12:00pm. Please bring your Easter basket. This Easter celebration will include a cupcake decorating contest, face-painting, the Easter story, a cupcake walk, snacks and prizes. All are invited!!

Fellowship Bible Church - FREE Easter Egg Hunt Sat., April 7th from 10-11:30am.  This event includes Easter egg hunts for the kids, Easter stories, and crafts.

Great Country Farms - March 31st and April 1st.  Their annual Easter Egg Hunt & Marshmallow Peep Harvest is included with your paid farm admission.  Kids can hunt for eggs, get pictures with the Easter Bunny, check out the farm animals, and enjoy a hayride.  There's also a 5 acre play area complete with Pumpkin' Jumpin' Pillow, slides, rope swings, and pedal cart track.  Live Music will be provided by Nathaniel Davis (someone I happened to go to high school with!)  Check out their website for directions and daily schedules. 

Kid's World 2nd Annual Spring Party & Egg Hunt - Sat. April 7th from 10:30am-12:30pm.  This event will include games, crafts, cookie decorating, egg hunt, and much more!  $5/child.  Please remember to bring a basket and a signed waiver to the party.  For more information, or to register, call 304-596-0006 or email kidsworldwv@gmail.com.  Please pay and reserve your spot by Friday, March 30th.
