Yarn Spiders

The boys asked if we could make these the other night and we had a great time. Unfortunately, I forgot to grab the camera until we were all done. 

So, here are the directions and our pictures of the completed project.

For our yarn spiders we used:

A Styrofoam ball

Black Yarn

Pom Pom ball

Googly Eyes

Tacky Glue

4 black pipe cleaners (cut in half)

1. Wrap your Styrofoam ball in black yarn until it is completely covered. Tie off the end of the yarn and use tacky glue to secure it.

2. Allow the kids to push the pipe cleaners into the sides of the spider to make 8 legs.

3. Glue a pom pom ball and googly eyes on one side of the ball with tacky glue to make the spider's face.

And there you have it! A super simple spider to help decorate for Halloween!
